About the position

As an Acquisition Analyst, you're eager to support both sides of the acquisition and contracts lifecycle in your clients' missions. We're looking for someone like you to be a liaison to the government. Bring your passion to support pre- and post-award federal contracts and improve the processes that defend our nation. As a federal acquisition management professional at Booz Allen, you'll work with our defense clients in support of the warfighter, aiding in the acquisition of products and services needed for optimal end strength and ensuring that their mission is our mission. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on our country's defense acquisition and contract process. On our team, you'll serve as an acquisition functional expert by supporting diverse programmatic efforts, including assisting with development of program acquisition and contract and financial management strategies, conducting acquisition kick-off meetings, collaborating with stakeholders, developing and tracking milestones, and anticipating upcoming contraction actions. You'll support development and maintenance of acquisition documentation and artifacts, including Purchase Requests (PRs), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), Acquisition Plans, Statements of Work (SOWs), and market research reports. You'll apply advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. You'll also develop innovative solutions to complex problems, work with minimal supervision, anticipate client's needs, and proactively find solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Support both sides of the acquisition and contracts lifecycle.
  • Serve as a liaison to the government.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with DoD, federal acquisition programs, or contract management.
  • Experience with financial management and spend plan development.
  • Experience planning, tracking, and meeting due dates for multiple tasks across multiple programs.
  • Experience collaborating successfully with individuals at all levels to accomplish tasks within stated deadlines.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and principles of acquisition planning.
  • Ability to recommend strategies for program execution.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and concisely using a variety of styles appropriate for target audience.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) financial system.
  • DAWIA Certification in Program Management, Contracting, or Financial Management functional areas.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
