Coffman Engineers is seeking a talented and self-motivated Acoustical Engineer/Consultant with 6–10 years of experience to join our Bay Area team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive acoustical consulting services—from initial feasibility studies through design, permitting, and construction support. We’re looking for someone enthusiastic about collaboration, eager to grow within a multidisciplinary environment, and ready to bring energy and creativity to every project. The position is hybrid where the staff are in-person three days a week (minimum) and have the option to work remotely two days a week. The Bay Area office of Coffman Engineers was established in 2014 after Coffman had been providing engineering services in this area for many years. Since then, we have grown organically to include four different engineering disciplines working in many different market sectors. We've built the culture of the company in a distinct way. Our Bay Area office is conveniently located near Lake Merritt in Oakland in a 9-story office building. Our office space is 3 blocks from a BART station, and close to a wide variety of restaurants and breweries, the lake itself, and all that downtown Oakland has to offer.
