About The Position

As an acoustic intelligence analyst, you know that the intelligence community provides national, operational, and tactical leaders the information they need to keep our country safe. As an acoustic intelligence analyst at Booz Allen, you'll use your proficient problem-solving skills to further the Navy's 'Fight Tonight' objectives through research, analysis, and integration of sensitive information. We're looking for someone like you to help our clients obtain information superiority and enable the warfighter at the tactical edge. As an intelligence analyst on our team, you'll work with our national intelligence clients to connect to fleet users in the areas of acoustic intelligence collection, emerging technologies, research design, and integration. Partnering with a team of highly technical software, hardware, and integration experts, you'll develop, test, and deploy cutting-edge technology. Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a U.S. Navy Sonar Technician, including Surface Sonar Technician (STG) or a Submarine Sonar Technician (STS), including in ACINT operations and analysis
  • Experience with Navy tactical data links and communication systems
  • Knowledge of signal processing, data analysis, and acoustic signature recognition
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in DoD program management and integration
  • Ability to develop scripts and tools for automating data analysis and testing
  • Ability to mentor and train junior team members
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Industry certification, such as CompTIA Security+ Certification
