Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Engineering, Acoustics, Audio Engineering, or a related field.
  • Genuine passion for the AEC industry and a drive to learn and contribute to meaningful projects.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools, such as CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit), audio simulation software, or acoustic modeling software, is advantageous.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and tasks, with a readiness to perform duties onsite or at project locations as needed.
  • Previous internship or co-op experience in the AEC industry is advantageous, though not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Performing acoustical analyses and field testing, such as sound transmission loss, reverberation time, and environmental noise.
  • Performing research and generating documentation in support of design projects, including detailed drawings, and/or calculations.
  • Acoustical modeling.
  • Coordinating with other design team members concerning acoustical design details.
  • Working within a multidisciplinary team to develop technical solutions.
  • Becoming familiar with project work in various built environments, including education, event spaces, government, mixed-use/residential, and corporate markets.
