Noise Control Engineering, LLC (NCE) is seeking an Acoustic Engineer to work within our landside acoustical consulting business. NCE is a premier engineering consulting firm located in Billerica, Massachusetts. We specialize in landside and marine noise and vibration control, assisting a diverse range of clients to design safe and comfortable working and living environments that meet a range of acoustic criteria. We pride ourselves on effective and efficient acoustic analyses and in-field testing to assess and solve challenging noise issues. As an NCE engineer, you will join a talented team in a small business environment, combining analytical skills with hands-on testing to perform assessments, diagnostics, and solve challenging problems. We work on unique projects, often incorporating architectural and environmental acoustics concepts with structural vibration analysis and assessments, building off of our experience and expertise in marine noise and vibration. In this role, you will work directly with clients to identify their needs and apply suitable analysis and testing methods to develop solutions for a variety of acoustic challenges. You will serve as the technical lead on designated projects with additional project management responsibilities. Colleagues will look to you for expertise in model-based assessments and in-field testing, contributing to a collaborative learning environment that supports the growth and success of NCE employees. You will report to the Landside Acoustics Group Lead, who oversees business development and manages the group's work.
