About The Position

The Edcouch-Elsa ISD ACE program will hire several enrichment instructors at each campus to help deliver the afterschool activities as outlined in the grant application. Enrichment instructors are needed for homework help, tutoring, sports, arts, music, dance, and other enrichment activities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• College Hours Preferred (Certification may be required depending on assignment)
• Minimum one-year experience performing similar job responsibilities.
• Must meet all School District Personnel Hiring Requirements.
• Working knowledge in assigned activity content.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing lesson plans based on approved activity description.
• Facilitate lesson plans daily on assigned activity.
• Facilitate acceptable classroom management practices at all times.
• Supervise assigned students at all times.
• Record daily attendance.
• Assist with student bus transportation as assigned.
• Provide support to other team members as needed or instructed.
• Maintain and care for assigned supplies, equipment and materials.
• Assist in disseminating daily snacks as assigned.
• Assist campus and/or district in special projects as assigned.
• Assist afterschool team in completing district, local, and state reports.
• Perform any and all other duties as assigned by ACE site coordinator and/or Project Director.
