Your Opportunity You will work with close guidance and supervision on tasks and smaller projects, and as a team member of a larger project under the guidance of a Senior Engineer/Designer. You will perform a variety of tasks which may include Revit design, calculations, and field work. This role is ideal for highly motivated and dependable high school students who plan to pursue an engineering field of study and are seeking an opportunity to support several exciting local projects while preparing for a college engineering degree.

Requirements

• Proficient in CADD with basic understanding of Revit and AutoCad, and the use of it as a drafting/design tool.
• Ability to participate and collaborate in a project team setting.
• Ability to take direction, follow process and accept feedback and suggestions from senior engineers/designers.
• Currently participating in ACE Mentor program with plans to pursue a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Architectural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Production of CADD drawings.
• Perform field work (evaluation of existing sites) as directed by senior engineer/designer.
• Participation in electrical design including building load calculations, ductwork and equipment layouts.
• Assists with engineering duties on projects of various complexity.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the senior engineering staff.
