About The Position

We are seeking an Assistant Manager for our ACE Hardware store in Dunn, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail and possess excellent customer service skills. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and staff supervision. The candidate must be friendly, outgoing, and organized, with the ability to work a flexible schedule.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous retail experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Friendly, outgoing, and organized.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all customers, ensuring their needs are met and their questions are answered.
  • Assist in the hiring, training, and supervision of store staff.
  • Ensure that the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
  • Assist in the management of inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales reports and other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
