About The Position

The Admissions Coordinator is a creative, highly motivated, and detail-oriented person who supports our ACE department with the admissions process for youth entering the Readiness phase of MTW and support community engagement activities outside the walls of MTW and hosting community engagement events with referral partners on site. The Admissions Coordinator will report to the Admissions and Community Manager.

Requirements

• GED or High School Diploma
• Consistently moving towards educational outcomes
• At least 18 years of age
• Able to follow through on commitments
• High-energy person who enjoys working with other young adults and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment in a forward facing role
• Reliable, responsible, accountable, and professional
• Must comply with the same guidelines that all MTW employees follow
• As a past Graduate, you must be willing to consistently uphold the MTW way and model professionalism and accountability at all times

Responsibilities

• Support initial conversations with prospective new youth to learn about MTW
• Support second interviews for perspective new youth with ACE managers
• Support on site and virtual tours
• Attend community events with ACE managers and youth to serve as Ambassador for MTW
• Support ACE manager in Readiness work with new youth
• Leading community engagement events and representing MTW in the community

Benefits

• Compensation: $22.00 per hour
• Maximum of 29 hours per week; exact days and times to be discussed with your supervisor
• Occasional evening or weekend hours may be scheduled in advance on mutual agreement for events or presentations
• This is a 6-month position, with the potential to renew after evaluating at the end of the 6-month period
• All of MTW’s sites are commuter friendly and are conveniently located near public transportation
