About The Position

Denver International Airport (DEN) is the third-busiest airport in the United States and one of the top ten busiest airports in the world, connecting our community globally through flight and business. DEN is the primary economic engine for the state of Colorado, generating more than $33 billion for the region annually and employing nearly 30,000 people. At DEN, we are committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace. We celebrate individuality and uplift all races, ethnicities, gender identities, national origins, ages, abilities, religions, and LGBTQIA+ communities. We know that our diversity makes us stronger, and we strive to keep equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility at the center of all that we do. The Culture & Strategy Division is seeking a detail-oriented person to join the team as the Senior ACDBE Program Specialist. As part of the DEN Chief of Staff portfolio, the Culture & Strategy Division is responsible for leading DEN's efforts in the following areas impacting the entire organization, including our stakeholders: (1) Vision 100 Strategic Plan and performance measurement; (2) Equity, Engagement & Inclusion; (3) Continuous Improvement; (4) Employee Wellness Program; (5) ACDBE Program Administration; (6) Business Learning & Development; and (6) Strategic Outreach & Engagement. As part of the DEN Culture & Strategy Division, the Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) team leads efforts to level the playing field and increase access for socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that wish to participate in concession opportunities at DEN. The Department of Transportation's (DOT) ACDBE program is implemented by recipients that receive funds subject to Title 49 Code of Federal Regulations Part 23 (49 CFR 23). DEN's ACDBE Team provides administration and oversight of the ACDBE Program at DEN. The objectives of the ACDBE Program are to ensure nondiscrimination in the award and administration of opportunities for concessions by airports receiving DOT financial assistance, create a level playing field on which ACDBEs can compete fairly for opportunities for concessions, and help remove barriers to the participation of ACDBEs in opportunities.
