About The Position

The Accurint One Sales Representative is responsible for driving adoption and revenue growth of Accurint One, LexisNexis Risk Solutions’ next-generation law enforcement and public safety platform, within an assigned U.S. territory. This role combines law enforcement domain knowledge, consultative SaaS sales experience, and a passion for public safety technology. Sales Representatives act as trusted advisors to agencies, helping them modernize investigative and operational workflows through unified data, AI-driven analytics, and role-based experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or equivalent experience; background in criminal justice, business, or related field preferred.
  • Prior law enforcement or public safety experience strongly preferred (sworn, civilian, investigative, analytical, command, or closely aligned roles).
  • 3–7 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management within public safety technology, SaaS, or risk management markets.
  • Demonstrated success in consultative, solution-based selling.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills at all levels with a federal, state or local law enforcement agency.
  • Experience with law enforcement workflows, investigative processes, or public safety data platforms preferred.
  • Comfortable working independently within a geographically distributed team.
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territory to support customer engagements and industry events.
  • Understanding of law enforcement operations and investigative processes.
  • Ability to translate complex technology into practical, mission-driven value.
  • Trusted communicator with credibility across public safety audiences.
  • Organized, self-directed, and accountable.
  • Adaptable and responsive to evolving customer and market needs.
  • Physical and/or logical access to criminal justice information is an essential function of this role.
  • The successful candidate will be required to pass both the standard company background check for all employees and an enhanced criminal background check conducted by the Company’s state and local law enforcement partners conducted in compliance with the FBI’s Criminal Justice Information System (“CJIS”) security policy.
  • Employees in this role may also be subject to ongoing criminal background checks as required by the Company’s state and local law enforcement partners.
  • Candidates and/or employees who are not certified by state and local law enforcement to access criminal justice information will not be able to perform the essential functions of this role.
  • Employees who subsequently fail to obtain or maintain CJIS compliance may be reassigned or terminated.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an Accurint One overlay specialist, supporting assigned regional and territory sales representatives throughout the Accurint One sales motion.
  • Partner with territory reps to identify, qualify, and advance Accurint One opportunities within existing and new accounts.
  • Do not own accounts or primary customer relationships; instead, operate in direct alignment with the assigned account owner.
  • Lead Accurint One–specific discovery, solution positioning, and product demonstrations in coordination with territory reps.
  • Support territory reps in opportunity strategy, use-case development, and value articulation tailored to agency workflows.
  • Assist with pilot programs, proofs of value, and technical validations as required.
  • Participate in customer meetings at the request of the territory rep or Sales Director, including virtual and in-person engagements.
  • Ensure all Accurint One activity aligns with established sales processes, engagement models, and escalation paths.
  • Develop and maintain strong working knowledge of Accurint One, OSINT, including omni-search, ESRI mapping, investigative timelines, link charts, and advanced crime analytics.
  • Conduct compelling product demonstrations tailored to agency use cases and operational needs.
  • Represent Accurint One at conferences, trade shows, and customer events within assigned territory.
  • Conduct discovery and needs assessments to understand agency workflows, investigative challenges, and data environments.
  • Position Accurint One as a strategic platform that improves investigative efficiency, collaboration, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Sales Director and internal teams to align solutions with customer priorities and agency objectives.
  • Support onboarding and early adoption efforts to ensure customers realize value from Accurint One.
  • Reinforce best practices and use cases that drive long-term utilization and customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Accurately track sales activity, pipeline progression, and customer engagement using company systems.
  • Maintain awareness of public safety technology trends, competitive landscape, and regional market dynamics.
  • Provide feedback from the field to Sales Leadership and Product teams to inform strategy and development.
