About The Position

Adult Community Clinical Services is a Department of Mental Health funded service that is designed to deliver evidence-based interventions within a clinically focused model. Individuals served are diagnosed with mental illness or dual diagnosis and reside in their own homes, apartments, or in group living environments. Our services focus on helping people transition to a more independent environment while maximizing their natural supports by building skills and achieving personal goals. The teams are tight knit, supportive and multidisciplinary. Open Sky’s talented clinicians, substance use counselors, nurses, peer staff, housing counselors, outreach counselors, and direct care staff provide quality, compassionate care to individuals served. The Awake Overnight Counselor provides guidance during the overnight hours and assists individuals with all morning routines. Through implementing procedures that ensure the health, safety, and well-being of individuals and general cleanliness and safety of the physical site, counselors ensure individuals are living a healthy, productive, and independent life. Counselors are strong advocates for individuals served, believe in the power of community, and acknowledge the importance of community integration! The organization recognizes skills, location, training and population served in certain programs by offering an additional hourly differential. Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, required.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record, required.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and being open to new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Utilize crisis intervention or other means to intervene during a crisis situation, following established program and agency procedures.
• Implement individuals’ medical and medication protocols in accordance with agency and MAP policies.
• Assist individuals to access and/or provide all needed transportation.
• Review and complete all required documentation.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of individuals and general cleanliness and safety of the physical site
• Assist individuals with all morning routines.
