About The Position

Performs the coding function on all discharged inpatients and outpatients in a competent, efficient, reliable and timely fashion. Customers include physicians, health information management staff, insurance companies and reviewers.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED with two (2) years of work related training or experience in coding
Experience with encoder systems and computer information systems
Active Credentialed Status as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) and Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
