About The Position

The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Accounts Payable Technician is responsible for performing a combination of accounting and administrative support duties involving specialized knowledge of financial records and coding, inputting, and accessing information in SCF's accounting system. This position has three (3) levels designed to provide progressively more responsible and independent work experiences. Progression between job levels is based on the demonstrated ability to successfully handle more progressively responsible assignments.

Requirements

• High School diploma; OR GED.
• One (1) year of Accounting; OR two (2) years of clerical experience; OR at least two (2) years of higher education in Accounting or Finance.

Nice To Haves

• Two (2) years of Accounting experience; OR at least three (3) years of higher education in Accounting or Finance for Technician II.
• An Associate degree in Accounting or Business or a related field; OR equivalent training and experience for Technician III.

Responsibilities

• Perform accounting and administrative support duties.
• Utilize specialized knowledge of financial records and coding.
• Input and access information in SCF's accounting system.
