We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Team Lead for the Accounts Payable team to oversee our vendor payment processes, ensure accuracy across financial systems, and guide a high-performing AP team. Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Accounts Payable, with at least 1 year in a senior or lead role.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Esker systems is a plus.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the Accounts Payable team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Oversee daily AP operations, including invoice processing (PO and non-PO match), vendor account reconciliation, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure timely and accurate responses to vendor inquiries, maintaining professionalism and service excellence.
  • Manage escalations related to purchase orders, invoices, and payments, coordinating cross-functionally with Procurement and Finance.
  • Review and approve vendor setups and updates to master data, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
  • Monitor AP metrics and KPIs, identifying opportunities for process optimization and automation.
  • Collaborate with Finance leadership on month-end close activities and reporting requirements.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for internal audits and compliance reviews related to AP processes.
