About The Position

The Accounts Payable Team Lead at Applied Industrial Technologies will oversee the Accounts Payable team, providing leadership and guidance in a high-volume, collaborative environment. This role involves resolving vendor issues, training team members, and improving processes to enhance service delivery to suppliers and internal colleagues.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of Accounts Payable experience
• Experience in a shared services/centralized services environment
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• Experience using Microsoft Suite and SAP
• Bachelor's degree in equivalent field

Responsibilities

• Resolve escalated issues with vendors/suppliers and counsel team members on effective resolution.
• Work with other Accounts Payable Supervisors and Manager to train/develop team members, set goals, and provide service to suppliers and internal colleagues.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable Supervisors to improve processes and develop training materials.
• Lead regular meetings with AP team members to provide updates, identify potential areas for improvement, and address team member questions/concerns.
