About The Position

The Global Accounts Payable specialist will receive, process, verify, and reconcile invoices and other payables according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely and accurate manner. The role supports all direct and indirect CSC operations globally.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of accounts payable experience
• Analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills, with attention to details
• Microsoft products including Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook experience required
• Working knowledge of VAT
• Experience with multiple currencies and multiple geographies
• Knowledge of general accounting procedures
• Knowledge of relevant ERP software
• Proficient in data entry and management
• Business acumen
• Knowledge of procure-to-pay process best practices
• Organized and able to handle multiple priorities in a continuous improvement environment
• Is self-motivated and adapts to change
• Provides great service to internal and external customers by making a determined effort to resolve problems and keep them from happening
• Grasps accounting, auditing and internal control concepts and can apply the same to CSC's business environment

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, verify, and reconcile invoices and other payables into an ERP system to ensure payments are made per agreement terms
• Coordinate with cross-functional finance teams to ensure proper payment and reconciliation
• Expedite payments as required
• Correspond with suppliers and respond to inquiries
• Support Audits
• Maintaining Purchasing Card Program
• Performing weekly check runs
• Review of day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
• Processing of daily incoming accounts payable related mail
• Assist with month-end closing activities
• Process various check void requests
