About The Position

An opportunity has arisen within our accounting team for a dynamic and driven Accounting Professional to join us as an Accounting Specialist Sr. focused on Accounts Payable. In the Role Perform accurate invoice entry for timely payments Managing the AP mailbox and answering emails New vendor setup Knowledge of accounting principle Ability to work well within a team Ensure adherence to accounting policies and principles Trouble shoot mobile app, expense report and unsubmitted reports issues Assist with the preparation and review of Accounts Payable reports Provide excellent customer service when assisting Internal and External customers Detailed research and analysis of account balances and transactions Other special projects work as needed Requirements High School Diploma. Some college is preferred. 2+ years of experience working in accounting, accounts payable or other business related field Strong Microsoft Office knowledge and work experience Ability to follow established accounting and regulatory policies and procedures Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with people at different levels Outstanding verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and an understanding of internal controls Location: Irving, TX – Flexible Hybrid Schedule Our Las Colinas Office offers some unique perks. Requirements

  • High School Diploma. Some college is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience working in accounting, accounts payable or other business related field
  • Strong Microsoft Office knowledge and work experience
  • Ability to follow established accounting and regulatory policies and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with people at different levels
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and an understanding of internal controls

Responsibilities
