About The Position

The Accounts Payable/Payroll Administrator plays a vital role in the Finance Team at Bellevue Presbyterian Church, responsible for managing all accounts payable and payroll functions. This includes processing payroll, handling invoices and reimbursements, and managing credit card transactions in accordance with financial policies. The position also involves collaboration with contractors and vendors, as well as supporting various projects as directed by senior finance staff.

Requirements

• Personal and growing commitment to Jesus Christ.
• Demonstrated experience in payroll and payables systems.
• Experience with Shelby Next and Paychex is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and discretion.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Very strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Suite.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly via phone, in person, and email.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on time.
• Handle weekly processing of invoices and reimbursements.
• Manage credit card transactions and payments according to financial policies.
• Work with contractors and vendors to ensure timely payments.
• Assist with various projects as assigned by the Senior Accountant and Church Business Administrator.
