About The Position

This internship provides an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in accounts payable processes and financial operations within a dynamic business environment. This position offers flexible scheduling and requires a commitment of 20-24 hours per week. We are happy to work with you to accommodate your class schedule or other commitments.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing invoices and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Support the preparation of payment runs and ensure all payments are executed according to company policies.
• Help maintain accurate records of financial transactions and assist with filing.
• Collaborate with other departments to obtain necessary documentation and resolve any issues related to invoices and payments.
• Participate in month-end close processes by preparing reports and providing necessary data.
