Our vision is to be our community's first choice for delivering healthcare excellence. We are seeking a part-time, detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Intern to join our finance team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in accounts payable processes and financial operations within a dynamic business environment. This position offers flexible scheduling and requires a commitment of 20-24 hours per week. We are happy to work with you to accommodate your class schedule or other commitments.

Assist with processing invoices and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
Support the preparation of payment runs and ensure all payments are executed according to company policies.
Help maintain accurate records of financial transactions and assist with filing.
Collaborate with other departments to obtain necessary documentation and resolve any issues related to invoices and payments.
Participate in month-end close processes by preparing reports and providing necessary data.

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Practical experience in accounts payable and financial operations.
Exposure to real-world financial systems and software.
Insights into the workings of a finance department.
