We are looking for high performing and motivated individuals in various areas within DTNA organizations. DTNA internships begin each summer in May or June. Interns in this role may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time position subject to manager evaluations and business availability. As a valuable business partner we ensure transparency and provide operational guidance and services. As quality gatekeeper we drive compliance with finance operational rules within DTNA and the Daimler Truck Division. This intern position will concentrate on key Accounts Payable data and results - including analyzing current key performance metrics, working to understand foundational processes and their impact to overall paid on time, suggesting selection and/or revision of key analytics to ongoing measure and drive to targets, and the creation of these metrics.

  • Collaborate with members of the Accounts Payable team to gain Procure to Pay process understanding
  • Lead visualization project using PowerBI, Alteryx, and/or Tableau for dashboarding business solutions
  • Develop and/or maintain data with respect to department metrics, including process improvement in data collection, visualization, and distribution
  • Develop sustainable methodology for maintenance of KPI's
  • See a data/analytics project from start to completion
  • Share your insights and drive outcomes individually and in collaborative, encouraging environments
  • Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality
  • Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting/analysis
  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program or higher from an accredited college/university OR have recently graduated within 1 year of the position start date (May/June)
