Equity Residential, an S&P 500 real estate company, is in search of a resourceful, efficient, detail-oriented financial professional and team player to join our Augusta Accounting team in our Augusta, Georgia Office as an Accounts Payable Coordinator (AP Coordinator). The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for supporting and managing the accounts payable function across multiple properties. This role oversees the upload, review, and export of invoices into the OPS invoicing system and processes check payments for both Equity Residential operating properties and capital accounts. The AP Coordinator partners closely with the AP Supervisor, Regional Accounting Manager, and Senior and Staff Accountants to support reporting, reconciliations, and overall accounting accuracy. In addition, the AP Coordinator provides day-to-day leadership for a small team of AP Assistants, including training, development, workflow oversight, and hands-on support with troubleshooting issues as they arise.
