About The Position

Accounts Payable Coordinator Job Summary: The Accounts Payable Coordinator compiles and maintains all vendor account payable and credit card accounts as well as other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • General office environment including operation of standard office equipment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing.
  • Two to four years prior experience preferred.
  • Construction experience preferred.
  • Communicate in person, by phone with all site personnel
  • Must be able to work with a team, and independently as required
  • H.S. Diploma or GED is required.
  • 2-4 years work experience (Construction experience preferred).

Nice To Haves

  • Construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews all invoices for approval and back-up prior to payment
  • Administrator for corporate credit cards programs including monthly reconciliation and posting
  • Scans and inputs all invoices into Accounting system
  • Prepares urgent check requests ensuring proper approvals prior to payment
  • Processes weekly AP run including printing and distributing checks
  • Assists in monthly closing process
  • Investigating and resolving AP issues
  • Answering and directing incoming phone lines
