About The Position

The Accounts Payable Specialist performs accounting duties related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions including performing three-way matching for payment of purchase order invoices. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will review all invoices to identify taxable charges, research discrepancies, and communicate directly with vendors and distribution center team members. You will support documentation gathering for tax audits and ensure it is properly attached and saved to a shared drive for retrieval. You will help sort and distribute daily incoming vendor invoices and mail, as well as maintain procedural documentation. You will complete steps to request new or modify existing vendor address book records and respond to vendor inquiries. You will perform bookkeeping tasks by preparing analyses of accounts and statements, reconciling payments, and ensuring that all payments are up to date. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• 1 to 2 plus years of related experience.
