About The Position

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of vendor payments. The role works closely with the Property Accounting and Property Management departments.

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, a plus
  • Accounting software experience; Yardi or MRI experience, a plus
  • AvidXchange experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Review invoices and support documentation for payment processing of vendor invoices.
  • Print checks, obtain signatures, mail or distribute checks to appropriate accounting personnel
  • Scan and file check batches electronically
  • Research and resolve invoice exception issues within the AVID system
  • Review, sort and distribute mail to Project Accountants
  • Review and approve new vendors in the Accounts Payable system
  • Assist with 1099 processing and reporting
  • Additional projects as requested by Accounting Leadership
