About The Position
The Accounts Payable Accountant position performs tasks such as processing vendor invoices, verifying accuracy and ensuring timely payments. The position processes student refunds, travel reimbursements, reviews vendor statements, and performs the 1099 process. Accounts Payable Accountants reconcile statements, resolve payment discrepancies, and maintain vendor records. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
