About The Position

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or a closely related field, or equivalent
• One (1) year of clerical, bookkeeping, or accounting experience
• A combination of education and experience, substituting one year of experience for each year of the required degree

Nice To Haves

• Experience with PeopleSoft or other ERP systems

Responsibilities

• Maintains payment files in proper order and ensure payments are being completed
• Verifies accounting data ensuring proper accounting procedures are followed
• Ensures accurate data entry
• Processes invoices for payment
• Reviews P-Card transactions for accuracy; editing as needed
• Process employee withholding claims
• Researches and reviews Purchase Orders and contracts for payment terms and conditions
• Assists in resolving invoice and travel issues
