About The Position
Oregon State Hospital is looking for a qualified Accounting Technician to join our amazing team! The primary purpose of this position is to use the Avatar, Statewide Financial Management Application (SFMA), or other systems to perform Accounting and Trust Banking functions that support the operations of the Oregon State Hospital (OSH), a division of the Oregon Health Authority. This Accounting Technician ensures compliance with authoritative requirements of OAM, CMS, GAAP, GASB, Agency, along with other citing's and performs financial transactions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, contract payables, garnishments, cash receipting, account and systems reconciliations with the assistance of an Accountant. This position cross trains between the accounting and banking functions; Performs trust account banking services for over 500 patient accounts.
