About The Position
The Accounting Technician position within the Department of Budget and Fiscal Services, Treasury Division, is responsible for providing clerical support for the O'ahu Transient Accommodations Tax (TAT) and Timeshare Occupancy Tax (TOT) revenue collections. This role involves recording bank deposits, applying proper accounting for taxpayer revenue payments, and ensuring accuracy in tax calculations. The technician will also communicate with taxpayers to provide information and resolve issues related to TAT/TOT laws and regulations.
