The Accounting Technician Part-Time assists in maintenance of accounting records, collection and posting of all City revenues. The position requires working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 11:30 pm.

  • Daily Revenue account reconciliation.
  • Preparation of the daily bank deposit.
  • Provide assistance in the billing of accounts receivable records and maintenance of customer accounts.
  • Assist with review, monitoring and tracking of receipt of major revenues to ensure accuracy of payment amount, proper documentation of payment amount and compliance with contract if applicable.
  • Monthly collection calls for outstanding receivables.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • High School Diploma
  • One to three years (1-3) experience in cash handling, customer service or related field required.
  • Any combination of experience and education which provides the applicant with the level of required knowledge and abilities will be considered.
  • Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Experience in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel.
