The Accounting Technician Part-Time assists in maintenance of accounting records, collection and posting of all City revenues. The position requires working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 11:30 pm.
Daily Revenue account reconciliation.
Preparation of the daily bank deposit.
Provide assistance in the billing of accounts receivable records and maintenance of customer accounts.
Assist with review, monitoring and tracking of receipt of major revenues to ensure accuracy of payment amount, proper documentation of payment amount and compliance with contract if applicable.
Monthly collection calls for outstanding receivables.
Perform other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma
One to three years (1-3) experience in cash handling, customer service or related field required.
Any combination of experience and education which provides the applicant with the level of required knowledge and abilities will be considered.
Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
