We are currently recruiting for an Accounting Technician (Accounts Payable Clerk). This position is headquartered in our Salem office; however, the successful candidate may be eligible for in state hybrid work. Hybrid work consists of performing duties onsite in a standard office environment and working remotely. As the Accounting Technician (Accounts Payable Clerk), you will audit and prepare vouchers for payment for the department, ensuring compliance with applicable rules, regulations and policies. In addition, you will review a multitude of invoices of varying complexity for accuracy, completeness, proper authorizations, appropriateness of expenditure and proper account coding. You will also obtain the necessary information or documents from appropriate staff.
