POSITION OVERVIEW: The Accounting Technician supports the Central Services Division by performing a variety of accounts payable and receivable duties that ensure the agency’s financial transactions are accurate, timely, and compliant with federal and state requirements. Working closely with other accounting team members, this position audits and processes payments, maintains vendor records, reconciles accounts, and provides responsive customer service to agency staff and vendors. The role contributes directly to the Department’s mission by safeguarding public resources and maintaining confidence in the Department’s fiscal integrity.
