These roles contribute to core financial operations, including account reconciliations, month-end close, financial reporting, and accounts payable processing. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, collaborative, and bring a solid foundation in accounting with varying levels of experience.

Requirements

  • Senior Accountant: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, 3+ years of accounting experience (healthcare preferred), Advanced proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros preferred), Ability to handle complex accounting functions and multiple projects
  • Accountant II: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, 3+ years of accounting experience (healthcare preferred), Strong understanding of accounting principles and reporting, Ability to communicate financial information clearly
  • Accounts Payable Specialist: 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience, Ability to process high-volume invoices (100+ per day), Experience with AP workflows and month-end close processes, Understanding of internal controls

  • Accounts Payable Specialist: Experience with NetSuite or QuickBooks preferred

Responsibilities

  • Unified Women’s Healthcare is seeking accounting professionals to join our team through this evergreen requisition, supporting opportunities at the Senior Accountant, Accountant II, and Accounts Payable Specialist levels.
  • Senior Accountant: Responsible for providing financial support to its Care Centers, including the month end close process and posting of transactions and balance sheet reconciliations, to create the base level of accuracy in the care centers’ financial statements. This position also provides financial support for its assigned centers to the Corporate Accounting Team (including Centralized AP) and other internal stakeholders, and may assist with integrations and other special projects, as assigned.
  • Accountant II: Supports the Accounting team in the execution of daily tasks related to account reconciliation, month end and year end close, and various research and analyses as the needs arise. The Accountant II will function in a more prominent role and should be expected to work independently on assigned tasks as well as collaborative in nature
  • Accounts Payable Specialist: Responsible for the payment of goods and services purchased by the organization. This role also serves as an auditor, ensuring that invoices are accurate and that proper accounting procedures are followed for the purchasing and payment of goods and services. The AP Specialist will assist with all matters pertaining to Concur and Travel bookings including expense report submission, processing, and auditing. They will support the Concur Admin in all administrative duties.
