About The Position

AWG is currently looking for an Accounting Systems Analyst to work in the AWG Support Center Accounting department. This position will be responsible for the configuration and user administration of various accounting systems. This individual will be required to create and/or maintain documentation of procedures and process flows to support the applications. This position will be required to work closely with multiple cross-functional teams as projects are assigned. Ability to provide recommendations and assist with the implementation of ideas and innovations to improve existing systems, work processes, and procedures is essential.

Requirements

  • BA in Accounting, Finance, or business-related field
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Must have strong communications skills and organizational skills
  • Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well
  • Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction
  • Acute level of customer service skills with the ability to work with all levels of the organization effectively
  • Desire to learn new systems

Nice To Haves

  • Strong MS Access skills is a plus
  • Experience with PeopleSoft is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Application and user administration for PeopleSoft, Syspro, Blackline, and other systems as required, including an understanding of application functionality and data.
  • Partner with cross-functional business teams and IT to troubleshoot, research and analyze problems/concerns to resolve issues.
  • Prepare special financial reports as requested by management by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Work closely with the Accounting team to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data.
  • Assist in ad-hoc analyses and special projects as requested by management and business partners.
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
  • Identify and architect new process improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain documentation of system administration, procedures and design
  • Execute and deliver on assigned tasks and projects
  • Other duties as assigned.
