About The Position

The Boeing Company is seeking a motivated, driven and highly skilled Experienced (Level 3) or Senior (Level 4) Accounting Systems Analyst to join the Future Finance Systems team in one of the following locations: Illinois: Chicago Missouri: Hazelwood Washington: Renton, Tukwila Preferred location will be Tukwila. This role will focus on accounting system design and development primarily within the SAP S/4 Hana platform. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance, cost & financial accounting processes / principles, systems analysis and SAP S/4 Hana, with a proven ability to collaborate across teams to drive improvements and implement technology solutions. Our Ideal Candidate: Has experience in SAP S/4 Hana as a business end user, systems architect, systems integrator, and/or system developer Has experience in finance / accounting principles, predominately material costing Self-starter, go-getter, able to work effectively under minimal oversight Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and change management skills Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to both work collaboratively in a team environment as well as individual work statements Advanced Excel skills

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• 3+ years of experience working in cost accounting, material accounting, financial accounting, SAP S/4 Hana system implementations or a related field
• Experience demonstrating an understanding of financial and accounting principles
• Experience successfully managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience demonstrating an understanding of financial and accounting principles
• Experience working in a large, multinational corporation, manufacturing industry or aerospace and defense
• Proficiency in SAP S/4 Hana, including Project Manufacturing Management and Optimization (PMMO)
• Experience articulating complex technical concepts clearly and concisely
• Experience as a change agent and ability to communicate and drive change with multiple stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of finance systems, notably SAP S/4 Hana
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, accounting, finance and manufacturing to gather requirements and design solutions that enhance functionalities
• Lead system testing and validation efforts to ensure that new functionalities meet business requirements and are implemented successfully
• Provide training and support to end-users on finance systems, ensuring they understand processes and tools
• Identify opportunities and automation within accounting processes and tools
• Stay current with industry trends and for process improvements best practices in finance systems to recommend improvements
• Travel domestically up to 5%
