The Accounting Staff Analyst position at Aramco Services Company involves providing professional staff accounting services to the Controller's Division. This role may include providing work direction to lower-level professional and clerical personnel. The analyst will conduct accounting studies, coordinate the implementation of accounting program changes, and develop and direct the implementation of cost compliance procedures. Additionally, the analyst will monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and adherence to accounting procedures and controls. Under the general direction of a Group Leader or Accounting Staff Analyst I, the incumbent will be responsible for coordinating staff accounting efforts and providing advice and assistance to all ASC departments and subsidiary companies. The role requires performing analyses, studies, and forecasts of corporate or departmental significance, with independent work being a key aspect of the position. Supervision will typically be limited to consultation regarding workload priorities, policy interpretation, and progress reports on job status or completed work. Key responsibilities include assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and consolidation to the Saudi Aramco Financial Accounting Department for Aramco Americas and its subsidiaries. The analyst will also assist in the preparation of annual audited financial statements, record journal entries, perform balance sheet account reconciliations, analyze and report on variances, prepare or review invoices, and respond to financial reporting queries from management and affiliate companies. The role may also involve coordinating the implementation of approved accounting policy changes, reviewing contracts and agreements, and responding to internal and external auditor requests.
