Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/business
• 3 years or more of related experience is required.
• Bilingual (Korean and English) Skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel), advanced Excel skills required.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proven working experience as accounts assistant clerk.
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software.
• Proficiency in English and in MS Office.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounting and Treasury Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting and treasury functions, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Ensure Timely Close: Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, adhering to deadlines and regulatory requirements.
• Establish and Enforce Accounting Methods: Develop, implement, and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles to maintain integrity and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Internal Controls: Implement and oversee KSOX internal controls operations, responding to auditor inquiries and ensuring compliance with internal control procedures.
• Support Accounting ERP System: Provide support for the accounting ERP system, facilitating financial to managerial closing processes and ensuring smooth operation of financial systems.
• Assist with Audits: Collect and provide information for audit inquiries, and collaborate with auditors to facilitate audit processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Supervise and Train Staff: Supervise and train staff accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks, including handling non-routine transactions.
• Additional Responsibilities: Undertake any other duties as assigned by management, as job duties may change periodically to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
• Efficiently process vendor and customer invoices, ensuring accurate data entry.
• Accurately maintain financial records, supporting data integrity and compliance standards.
• Assist in monthly bank reconciliation, ensuring all transactions are matched.
• Support detailed inventory tracking and reporting for accurate financial records.
• Effectively handle employee expense claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Generate financial reports and statements for management and review.
• Manage local tax data preparation and support filing and payments.
• Assist in completing month-end financial closing activities with minimal discrepancies.
• Prepare audit-ready documents and data, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
