The Accounting Specialist supports the financial health and operational efficiency of the insurance company by managing accounting tasks, reconciling financial data and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role is responsible for accurately posting all incoming payments from policyholders to the correct accounts, ensuring that premium payments, deductibles, and other financial transactions are properly recorded. This role should have the ability to handle a high volume of transactions accurately and efficiently; and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. This role also involves some financial analysis and reporting duties. Will be interacting with both internal teams (e.g., underwriting, customer service, claims) and external parties (e.g., insurance providers, clients, agents). Through these efforts, the Accounting Specialist will contribute to the organization’s ability to achieve financial transparency and maintain robust financial standing.
