About The Position

The Accounting Specialist operating in the Wholesale Accounting Department will
be responsible for invoicing all fuel deliveries for 4 wholesale companies,
processing convenient store credit card transactions, completing accounts
payable entries for fuel and freight payables, and the reconciliation of
supplier EFTs for fuel and freight.

Requirements

• Knowledge of and skill in using MS office suite, accounting software packages
• Data entry experience; preferably in an accounting environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Associates degree or equivalent preferred
• Relative experience in administrative support and accounting

Responsibilities

• Post fuel and freight payable invoices
• Reconcile bank recs for 4 companies
• Contact vendors for paperwork
• Collect money for past due invoices
• Invoice monthly credit card and miscellaneous fees
• Process chargebacks from credit card processors
• Compile, analyze, and report financial information utilizing Majors policies, professional standards, and US GAAP
• Other duties as assigned
