The Accounting Specialist is responsible for assisting in performing the day-to-day accounting duties for pools administered by Clear Risk Solutions. This includes handling monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports, processing claim checks and deductible invoicing, tracking check-signers for pool accounts, ordering check stock, TIN matching, processing 1099's, tracking pool financials for reimbursement from reinsurance carriers, preparing invoices, and serving as a backup for the Data Coordinator on reports. Additional responsibilities include cash receipt processing, positive-pay banking, handling lost check affidavits and stop payments, and other job-related projects or assignments as delegated.
