The Account Specialist is responsible for ensuring that payroll is processed accurately and in a timely manner; assists employees and supervisors with payroll related issues.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One (1) years' experience processing payroll preferred.
• Kronos and Lawson experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bi-weekly payroll processing in compliance with regulations and UHS policy.
• Input new employee data and information into Kronos.
• Prepare out-of-cycle paychecks with proper approval.
• Review Kronos timesheets for completeness and accuracy.
• Download, store, and maintain payroll reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with HR on employee transactions.
• Educate Managers on Kronos functionalities; serve as a resource for employees.
• Review and process invoices, employee expense reports, and AP check requests.
• Determine correct expense codes for invoices and expense reports.
• Perform month-end tasks, including AP check run, expense accruals, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
