Accounting Specialist

About the position

The Accounting Specialist works with the hospital Controller to ensure internal controls, monthly financial packages, and other projects are completed in accordance with our policies and procedures. This position will also be responsible for payroll in the facility.

Responsibilities

• Ensure internal controls are maintained.
• Prepare monthly financial packages.
• Assist with various accounting projects.
• Manage payroll for the facility.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong Excel, Microsoft Word and other computer skills are required.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented manner.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
