Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance required, CFA or CTP preferred
  • SAP experience preferred or treasury work station experience
  • At least 2-5 year of experience in company finance functions accounting management, accounting firms
  • Accounting knowledge and relevant experience
  • Strong financial analysis, modeling and valuation skills
  • Strong Organizing Skill is required to manage a large volume of data and documents
  • Project management skills require
  • Effective collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures and levels within the business and align internal and external stakeholders toward common objectives
  • Highly proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
  • Excellent communication in both Korean and English (verbal and written) is required
  • A desire to move quickly and decisively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative information concisely into strategic recommendations

Responsibilities

  • Liquidity Management; supervise daily cash management of US pooling and support regional treasurer to make decision for investment or loan, advise Canadian subsidiaries
  • Study best practices of treasury functions and recommend new processes or systems to improve the current practices
  • PMI (Post merger integration) in terms of treasury; analyze merged companies' banking structure, payment process, and banking relationship and recommend optimal structures for them
  • ISDA and Dodd & Frank regulatory follow up for new merged companies or new banks
  • Oversee month end closing for cash, short term investment, and debts
  • Supervise FX risk management; review subsidiaries' FX hedge, recommend hedge strategy for the subsidiaries, communicate with HQ
  • Administer online bank portal for SEA and guide subsidiaries to comply with treasury policy
  • Lead training staff of subsidiaries; host treasury conference or visit subsidiaries to instruct new system or updated treasury policy
  • Monitor and update most recent financial market status to HQ Korea and top management
  • Management banking relationship
  • Lead financing related projects to support business; analyze potential outcome and feasibility of the recommendation for various projects in terms of treasury
  • Project management ability; meet deadline of each task and communicate successfully with other departments or subsidiaries
