Tactical Fleet Dallas is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for a broad range of accounting duties and will require a versatile, self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. As part of a one-person office, you will play a key role in the daily accounting operations under the guidance of our Controller based in Charlotte, NC. This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys variety in their work and is looking to contribute to a growing company in the luxury automotive sector.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a dealership accounting role is preferred, though not required within the exotic vehicle industry.
• Strong multitasking abilities and exceptional organizational skills.
• A meticulous approach to work and the ability to handle complex tasks with accuracy.
• Ability to work autonomously while maintaining a high level of productivity.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Post daily deposits, sales deals, and stock-in vehicles.
• Manage the posting of payables, track receivables, and ensure timely payments.
• Handle vehicle payoffs accurately and promptly.
• Perform monthly reconciliations and assist with various other accounting-related tasks.
• Work closely with the Controller and other team members to ensure all financial activities are completed efficiently and in compliance with company standards.
