About The Position

Bottom line? We’re looking for an Accounting Specialist comfortable with balancing the books when it comes to managing the needs of auditors and regulatory agencies while also monitoring and improving hotel profitability. In return, we’ll put our financial operations and the security of our hotel assets in your expert hands. The hourly rate of pay for this position is $20 per hour. This position will be 3 days for Accounting Specialist and 2 days for Night Auditor. The rate of pay for the Night Auditor shift is $16.50 (plus $1) for the shift differential. Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be: ● Setting exceptional accounting practice standards and ensuring financial control procedures remain ethical and legal ● Maximising financial returns through financial analysis, data trends and market information – while budgeting accordingly ● Enhancing the guest experience through improved payment options, inventory controls and financial dispute resolution

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Accounting and Finance
1-2 years’ experience in hotel accounting or auditing or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
Must speak local language(s)

Nice To Haves

Professional accounting or finance designation or certification preferred
Other languages beneficial
