Accounting Specialist Fixed Assets Accounting
About The Position
As an Accounting Specialist, you will perform complex accounting responsibilities for the accounting department. You will report to the Fixed Assets Accounting Manager. Requirements
- Associates degree in Accounting or Finance or 2 years related experience.
- Apply basic math (arithmetic, ratios, proportions or conversions)
- Excellent oral or written communication skills
- Use Ten Key (by touch)
- Understanding of accounting principles
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Prior experience using of Microsoft Word and Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
- Two years' directly related experience
Responsibilities
- Perform multiple analytics and review functions to ensure accounting accuracy.
- Help with monthly closing process.
- Record general ledger entries.
- Compile reconciliations.
- Conduct specialized research projects, reporting, and respond to inquiries.
- Process payables and receivables.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
