The Accounting Specialist is primarily responsible for collecting, verifying, and entering information used to create payments to vendors. Person in this position will be expected to organize and enter large amounts of data daily. Person in this position would be comfortable doing repetitive tasks. The Account Specialist also assists OU departments with updates to payment information as necessary. Performs other duties as assigned/required to ensure the overall success of the department. Processes vendor payment requests received from departments ensuring documentation is in compliance with University and State requirements. Performs data entry for specialized payment requests. Performs other duties as assigned to ensure the overall success of the department.
