Requirements

• Prior experience working with MS Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• High level of intellectual curiosity.
• Ability to ask questions until you really understand the answer.

• Proven track record of reliable, detailed and accurate work product.
• Ability to work with large data sets and draw appropriate & useful business conclusions.
• Flexibility to adjust to fluctuations in workload based upon changing priorities.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with requesting walkthrough support from process owners.
• Document Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) internal controls based on walkthrough sample selections for our internal testing, for all of our key processes: Revenue, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Cost of Goods Sold, Equity, SEC Reporting, Taxes, AP, AR and IT processes.
• Begin testing of Design and Test of Effectiveness.
• Test Entity Level Controls (ELC) controls.
• Assist quarterly certifications.
• Assist with the deficiency list/tracker.
• Assist with system implementation projects and ensuring SOX compliance.
• Assist with our internal Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) narrative and flowchart updates.
• Other administrative tasks within the Auditboard application.
• Assist with running monthly reports and other ad hoc requests as needed.
• Assist with SOX project management and External Audit coordination.
• Assist in AI use case project for Internal Audit/SOX.
• Identify and drive process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, including Privacy/HIPAA, and other legal and regulatory requirements.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
