About The Position

The position involves performing accounting functions for the Facilities Maintenance Department, which includes preparation of payroll submissions for all full-time, part-time, and seasonal staff. The role requires monitoring budget expenditures, entering data, preparing Purchase Orders and Purchase Order Payments, and making projections to prevent overages by making necessary fund adjustments as recommended or instructed. Additionally, the candidate will administer the Job Costing system for Facilities Maintenance projects, which involves entry and verification of a large volume of data, monitoring the accuracy and status of programs, projects, and costs, and producing a variety of financial reports. The role also includes performing accounting duties for Special Projects and/or Events, preparing proper documentation for the FM budget, generating reports for future tracking, and providing necessary clerical support duties such as creating and maintaining files. Other related duties may be assigned as needed.
